i'm not officially back, but i got a little extra time this week for some reason and since i was use to being so busy i didn't know what to do... so, i'm here for a little bit. I was looking through the forum a bit the last two days, (not much, just a quick look) and it doesn't seem like too much has happened since i was gone. I see that my keyboard actions are being used, and that some people are working on rpg's. Also, i saw a pocket god remake going on, but all you could do was add, move them, and make them disappear. If i could look at that i would love to throw a bunch of stuff in there real quick. I have some free time, but i'm never going to have enough time to make a full project of my own. I prefer to tinker with stuff now if i have the time. So did i miss much while i was gone?

P.S.: have any of you tried darkflow yet? i see it's out now

Hi! The only thing I've released since you were gone was my sonic screwdriver app, from doctor who. I'm also working on an rpg game that's taken me so far 3 years...

Well it was stop and go. Sort of a side project. A game based on a movie I made. Are you really too busy to work on projects??

sadly yes :( i know it's a shame. I could do some much with this thing. One of the main things i hate about this program is the glitches though. Like sprite glitches, text, variables, and so on. It ruins what i want to do sometimes

Hey, Nobody, have you seen my Space Invaders clone yet? It's called, "mySPACEiNVADERS". About the Angry Birds port, could you continue? All you have to is make it to where you can win, limit the bird supply, and make backgrounds. If you don't want to, I can take a whack at it.

EDIT:
I just tested it. It's much better! The slingshot animation needs work though, and could you make it restart after it's over? Also, can you make the ground visible? Still, this is lightyears better!
EDIT:
I just did some more thorough testing. I found out that you press START to restart. When the bird stops moving, you can tap the screen to go back to the slingshot. Right when the bird is released, it puts a black circle in that spot. That way, you can make the same shot more than once. Really all it needs is a good menu, the ground be visible, and scoring for winning and losing.

the first four levels are done and i'm working on a fifth level which will be a boss. I also added sounds. After putting the boss i need to add a background, menu, bird limits, and winning/losing. Warning, excuse my spriting issues and offsets, dsgm is glitching and i didn't properly space my sprites and it would be easier just to work with what i have than to start over. Do you guys have any ideas on how i should make a boss? Should i have you launch the birds at a moving enemy or should i try and free other birds or what?

New update. 3 more levels added. There is no winning or losing, or bird limits. Just defeat all the pigs to continue on. Press start to start from the begging again. I fear as this may be my last update for now as i prepare to go back to school and do other crap i need to get done, so farewell.

EDIT: i forgot to remove the extra room with no pigs, also, the game defualtly starts in room four, hit start and return to the first room

The bouncing definitely could use some tweaking. Sometimes the bird will be moving in an arch like it should and other times it'll stop mid arch and drop to the ground. Other than that it's coming along nicely.

the reason it does that is because it lost it's x momentum. I might change that so that it increases the x speed when it bounces to fix things.

Yeah. I good way to do it would be to make it lose large amounts of momentum when it hits the ground and bounces and only make it lose momentum very slowly when it's in the air, or even not at all when it's in the air.

Angry Birds would be very nice if it was on the DS, but the angry birds today took about 5 years
(seasons, rio and the origina are discontinued, they would still do bugfixes though) they aremore focused on space then anyhting e;se
