Ice Slider Full Version 1.1 *UPDATED*

Postby EgoTrip » June 23rd, 2012, 6:39 pm

Ice Slider is a puzzle game, with the objective of collecting 10 coins on each level. However, there is a catch, once you start moving, you cannot stop until you hit an obstacle.

Obstacles include brick walls which cannot be passed, ice walls that break when bumped into, and directional walls which you can only move through in the indicated direction.

Controls are D-Pad to move, X to retry a level, and Y to exit to the menu.

All 80 levels have been tested and are all completable.

yeah, and the fact that you finished it so quickly. Must've been a easy fun project to work on. Wouldn't mind making something easy and fun...
Upcoming games I'm working on:
  • Minecraft2DS
  • Bow Man DS
  • Bird poo!

Its taken me about a month to finish, although its still lacking the save feature as I couldn't get it to work and basically lost patience trying. I'm sick of the sight of the game now. Maybe if I get around to a sequel then that will have much more features, but for now, unless there are any fatal bugs discovered, its as finished as its going to be.

However I will be working on a new, totally different game now, watch the WIP forums for an announcement when a playable demo is ready.

If you give me the .dsgm, then I can put in save features. I'm pretty good at that.

a game like this actually wouldn't be too hard. If you keep the rooms small enough then you could use all sprites and not have to worry about collision maps and stuff. You would draw a standard tiled floor and drop in blocks where you need them as boundaries and stuff. I could maybe help you make it if you really wanted to try to make it
