The first time I downloaded DSGM it had a logo with a grey DS and some green letters. But I didn't use it for quite some time because I didn't understand how it worked.

November of '09. I don't what version that was. I found the program a few months before but didn't download because I was afraid of viruses. I was afraid that any file off the internet would give me a virus xD

I think I joined around v2.4. I clearly remember joining DSGM on the afternoon of Feb 28, 2009. Gonna complete 2 years of DSGM in 46 days! Found my first post here (old forums): viewtopic.php?f=51&t=1197
I am amazed at the progress I've made in learning how to code. I didn't know what a variable is when I first used DSGM!

I joined in 2007, then in 2008 I understood how to use it and joined the forum. Back then DSGM was very bad, and took 7 lifetimes to set up, there was the invirorment variables that needed setting up with PAPATH and DKP, and then you needed to install everything completely manually with no help from DSGM, and back when I was a noob...

I found version 3 the best to use but then in version 4 James changed the icons and style again.

Now I use version 4 because it has less bugs, but it has a different feel to it which I don't enjoy as much.

And now, the same process has happened from 4.9 to 5.

Yeah, it takes me a while to get used to new updates, and when I do it changes again to somthing I don't like even more!

I have tried DSGM5 about 6 times, I don't really know why I am using this forum. Just no one will post on the version 4 one exept Ruffsta asking for help and topics like that.

DSGM 5 is meant to be more efficient and it's the future of DSGM now so we'll have to deal with it.
