Sort of Tile Movement Gimmick(SUCCESS!)

Hello All!

I have finshed making what I intended to make from the beginning. The Tile movement used mostly in RPG games!(Although it's not comlepetely perfect, stil better than the previous one I made).

Here's a brief explanation:

By default, your sprite wil move by every 32 pixels Up, Down, Left or Right depending on what you press.

You can change by how much it moves by changing variable "X" in the Right,Left,Up and down Button Held events to X + 32 (Only the #32 part) to whatever you want.

If you'd like to change the speed, then change the number in each "If Y or X" is Greater or Less Than "Y" or "X" to a higher number like 2 or 4. If the number cannot divide 32 or 64, then the movement will be offset.

You can change the Spawn position (Like where you want your character to start) By changing the variables X, Y, x and y.

It's a good Idea to change them by multiples of 32 so you can be consistant with your map. If you're not good with math just use a calculator.(Or play Brain Age. LOL)

Lol I flip-flop like that too, you get frustrated then you have an apifany (meh letters!) and a new idea on how to make it works pops up

Hey I finally decided to work on my rpg some more and I put this into it, it actually works really well. It is a bit jumpy but my game is sorta going down the "crappy game thats really fun/nes era" path so it doesnt matter

It's not bad at all, kinda cool in my opinion! I'm making an 8 bit kinda game with Zelda tile sheets and my character sprites are only 16x16. It looks good to me o(^▽^)o

Yeah I was able to download it, looks great but man this is gonna take me all day to put into my game. Oh well, it makes it look more like a real game.

Ps is this going to cause problems with memory or ram or whatever in the future (ya know that 4mb limit)? Im trying to make my game as space saving as possible

Some of my games are over 4mb and I have no problem. I just ignore it. Whether that's bad or not I dont know. If it doesn't effect the gameplay and it works on my DS then I don't care!

When you collide with the guard and press a it's supposed to display text, I don't know any better ways for it to display text when you press a next to something

You can place a different colored pixel(at least the size of the soldier) where the soldier is. Then use the If BG pixel action. That should work.
