Yoshi, you're smart enough to help people with any DSGM 5 problem. Don't switch to 4.9 again.
ATTENTION ALL BRONIES!
You can't take over the DSGM forum. So don't try.
You're welcome here but we all don't have to know you like My Little Pony.

Woot, me gots da Obj-C'z on ma windows ocho-huit-eight!!!

I am somewhat confused with version 5.

For instance, how would I get the X position of a certain object number? Like:

Object_2[4].X

It will take me a while to get this sorted out since I don't know very much about Version 5 yet.

You would use Get_X(ID) or Get_Y(ID)

I feel for ya man! I've had that type of thing happen so many times before! Feels like you just wanna curl in a ball, sit in the corner, and just forget the whole thing!
But don't give up, sometimes I find that doing it all again actually improves it a bit.

That happened to me when I was working on adding the canmove variable to my game. I always make a new file to save each separate part I'm working on and when they are working perfectly I add them to my game. Well I was working on an enemy example Nobody made for me and I wanted to add canmove so the fish would jump away from the enemy and then stop moving. I got it to work really late at night so I just decided to save and go to bed. Well....It didn't save!!! And I had to remember how I got it to all work and try and do it again! But the good news is that I ended up being able to chop some actions out that weren't needed!

No I hit save several times but for some reason my dsgm only saves the project if I hit "save as"
