Double Button Held

So, this is the first time i use dbas. It's simple.
An event.
A button held.
Execute code:

if Pad.Held.Left

start block
clear text
Output text "You held A and held Left."
end block.

That's how easy it is, it will be no problem with this method.

Why not just:

If Pad.Held.A && Pad.Held.Left

In a step event?

You could also nest a second if within the first if you want something to happen when just A is held:

Yoshi, I don't know this stuff. Bobbyloujo, I don't know that. It uses DBAS and this was really just practice, so don't get things complicated (for those that want to use this).

what yoshi and bobby said wasn't complicated at all. Instead of using the button events they used the step event and then doubled up on DBAS. Yoshi did an if this button and this button is held, and bobby did a series of if's.

But I'm not copying them - they use their method as they wish. Foxi knows this better than I do - DO NOT USE SOMETHING SOMEONE GIVES YOU IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS OR DOES!
Well, not exactly that, but you get the point. I don't know what they're doing, and if someone else doesn't know what they're doing, they could just use my method, and add actions into it.
