thank you very much for the compliment. I haven't had much free time lately to do anything DSGM related, so maybe in a week or two i'll have just a little bit of time to make some really quick levels or something. i'm not going to take this project very far though because i have a long list of things in need to do in life and in DSGM

You are saying you are qiute busy what are you doing :?:

Nobody wrote:Well aekara tried making one and it didn't come out well and i said i'd give it a try. So here it is. This is just a demo of what i'm trying for the really early stages. In the actual game i'll add a bigger room to launch in, make the slingshot sprite better, and more levels and so on, add adjustable height and power based on how you stretch the slingshot. Like i said, this is an early stage so there is room for minor enhancements.

CONTROLS: If there isn't a bird already in the room, hold down on the screen to aim, and release to shoot. To aim pull back the slingshot to adjust your shooting angle (or aim behind it i should say since there is no pulling back animations, and your ascend and power or fixed. Pay attention to where you put your stylus to aim because the sprite is off). The objective is to kill the green pig, so knock down the blocks and hit that thing!

Let me know how you like it so far. Also the physics aren't perfect since i don't really know physics or how to simulate it properly, so give me some credit for doing as much as i did. (note: blocks won't fall unless all blocks are removed from underneath them)

this is good but ...1 level????

that's not really relevant still. I should have put it into the works in progress section because i didn't plan on doing much with it. Plus, one level was hard enough and sure it wouldn't take too much longer to make a few more levels. What i posted was more of the beginning engine of what must people would find impossible in dsgm. I was just showing that it was indeed very possible. I'm thinking about giving someone the file and stuff so they can work on it because i don't have the time, and what time i do have i want to spend on doing other dsgm projects. So is there any high level dsgm user who would like to take a look at the file and possibly continue it?

Cool. This is quite impressive. At the moment, I am going through the PAlib days and learning how to code originally. Just finished Zooming in and out on a sprite and rotating them. I would most definately love to figure out how physics works. I'll look into it, As in the .dsgm file posted.

The only person who was a true friend to me. :( He was a nice person! He always said... "If I gave you an example, I'd still have it with me." It was rare that you see someone you can trust like that... :*( *Unreasonably hugs his icon*
