Sorry about there not being any updates to the game itself in about a YEAR. It's just that when school came back, Everything changed... We are trying our best to release Alpha 0.3 or even the first stable release. Even I am slow... I hope this doesn't ruin your hopes about Alpha 0.3 because we are still working on it!

It's like the source code for the basic things. Thing of it as pre-programmed objects that just need to be placed.

3d is almost impossible and even if you can load a 3d model you won't be able to make a game with it, DSGM is a 2d games program, it can't be used effectively to create 3d games.

Yeah, I've already told him that. We decided to do 2d mode instead. So far I have already created a simple eninge that works thanks to yoshi's formula.

The project is getting harder to work on, and I haven't the experience and knowledge to write a lib that would allow you to load a tiles from a tileset. Sadly, we may just have to do with sprites.

Tileset: load infinite blocks
Sprites: around 256 object limitation

I've asked around for help, but there was no helpful suitible feedback. Though very close to the solution, infinite block system is ffar far away and may/may not arrive to be apart of the game.

i know there are alot of version s of minecraft for the DS but this one is going to be made in DSGM!!!
when i finish making 0.1, there will be 0.1 FREE and 0.1 PRO!!!
i am mostly on this fourm so updates will be every week

About your first post, I only know of two minecrafts for DS so far; one made by Smealum http://smealum.net/dscraft/

as a side note i don't think i'll be finishing my competition entry
school for me lets out in 2 weeks but after that i might be getting started on my senior project (a big project for your 12th grade year that is carried the whole year and determines if you pass or not) which involves programming stuff not using dsgm. On top of that i might get a job and several other things. I might consider posting what i do have from my entry though
