yes it does sound like it could work, but you have to take into account the buffer size as well as the videos encoding youtube videos are encoded into .flv, so your player code would need to be able to read that file type.

What if you just had it download the video, and when you're done watching it, it deletes it?

Yes Commodore, in a sort of Temp folder which is cleared after the video finishes.

I started work on it, read the first post.

Foxi4 has been helping me a lot. We are almost at the point where we can display the first 5 results of a YouTube video search! But dealing with HTML strings in C requires a lot of knowlage which I don't have... Yet.
