That's not a description of what you want your game to be like, or what you want to make!
Could be RPG, puzzle, touch based adventure etc, any style, length, etc etc. Learn to use the basic functionality of this program with the included examples and wealth of info and help already given on the forum before launching into big ideas

RIght, that's better - to be able to make that sort of a game shouldn't be too hard if you take it step by step and learn how to use 3 things;
-Backgrounds
-Objects
-Text

All very do-able in a solo project. You might want help creating graphics if it's not a strong point of yours and you don't wanna give them a go. To get people on board for a project you will probably need to have some of the game programmed or graphics or sound to show that you are serious and are putting in time yourself, more importantly it gives an idea of the potential and standard of the game and will attract people of similar abilities.

Anyway, run through the included 6 examples, and see if you can get;
- a background on the screen
- an object with a sprite (eg an item, a character etc) on the screen at a specific place
- a message to appear on the screen

They are the key components you will build your game up from, you should try getting different messages to appear when you touch different areas. Try getting a counter up that tells you how many ties you have tapped each item and the like. It might seem simple but it's key stuff - and once you get it down you will be able to see how to build up more complex thing in your game

I'm not sure if that was a reply to my message or a fresh statement, but you need to show what you have tried and people can help where you get stuck. If I post an image of super smash bros saying thats what I want to do, no one is gonna come along and make it for me nevermind let me pin my name on their work :P

You are only new, it takes a little time to get up to scratch but the point of DSGM is making it easy. Try the tutorials and ask for help where you get stuck :)

It's good to be keen for an area of game dev also like graphics, but seriously helps you do that if you have a basic idea of what it's like to implement these in a game by making even basic games/projects. That goes for file sizes, file format, color count, animation, movement etc of your graphics. What makes a good size for an icon, a character, transparency colors etc. You should work on some sample backgrounds and sprites if graphics are your thing to show off what you can do, that's how you will attract a programmer to your idea for a project, or get yourself involved with another that you will enjoy! :D

@Thommoboy: I'm confused? One post said you can do visuals if someone codes and the next one said every time you try to add graphics or sound it doesn't compile. So what is it you can and can't do?
Feel free to ask me for help. I'm on the forum a lot.
