RPS-DS (Rock,Paper,Scissors - DS)

A project Ive been working on for a while, has finally bourne its v1.00 title and thus has been released. (I use down to 0.01 increments in advancing the version; its been through a lot).
Like it says on the tin - it IS a rock paper scissors game, but; with custom pixel-art graphics and synthesised tunes, unlockable trophies, and a graphical display system for your progress in recent plays (that saves how you've been doing and gives you feedback on it) -- in general, its quite an aesthetically pleasing game. Kill the boredom and kick back with some good old rock, paper, scissors with my own characters and style.
Enjoy!

What happened with the .nds?
A problem I had while I played was that the music stopped and never played again.

Sorted out a few bugs, working smoothly again and a little more efficiently now too. The updated .nds is linked at the beginning of the thread.

@James; took its time though, refused to listen to me when using 4 or 5 tiles and glitched ignoring vertically flipping one bar of them all along the bottom and inserting a random one flipped four along on the top. I havent been graced with internet for the past 6 weeks so just worked my way around it turning on DSGM at wifi spots and working on it at home.
Its a hell of a space saver on memory, gonna work a tile swopping scrolling system in the next project, should be fun.

I would set the tile priority for the blue as 2 but the boarder as 1 and then use this action to set the sprite priority as 2.
This way the sprite would go underneath the boarder when it changes screens. I think it would look better, what do you think?

Yes, my post was with reference to how buggy and horrible the Set Tile Map function in PAlib is.

I was thinking of it but at the time the two tiled backgrounds by chance had the edge bits split over them, and when that worked I didnt want to tinker and have it fail again. Might touch that up though it would look nicer.
I wasn't aware the Set tile was buggy, I trial and error'd it with values to figure it out then did the same where it failed playing with layer, order etc.
It sets 16x16 tiles as 8x8 ones too (or else their top corner 8x8 pixels), taking tile 0,1,2 etc as the tile at 0,16,32 pixels on the strip and so forth. Interesting i thought..
When I had the background layer filled in wrong it drew out my default font where I told tiles to be set, that may relate to the order the tile numbers go in? What I mean is that tile 0 was ! and tile 1 is " then hash sigh and so on, but these are at positions (8,8) and (16,8) -- pixel coordinates, rather than the (0,0) and (0,8) methods I used. A little inefficiency on positioning, but heck if its the layout it favours...
Ill tinker with it in a tile swopping system Im developing atm. Food for thought.. mmm....

Game is on the Games page.

As the author, you need to provide a description.

Look at the other games e.g. BananaCraze to get an idea of what is required: http://dsgamemaker.com/games.php

Game Description;

"RPS-DS" stands for 'Rock-Paper-Scissors DS'; a re-imagined version of the classic game by Metatarsals with unique characters and an original soundtrack.
The game also features unlockable trophies; a 'track you progress graph' system, and you can choose the number of rounds in your games. Get retro on your DS!

You must have taken the screenshot yourself also that you are using on the page; could you take another where it's not going to be a draw? It'd be a nicer showcase for my game.
